This week, we focused more on strategy than on code. Our next steps include:

  1. Copying every food store in OpenStreetMap to our stores database
  2. Recording the procedure for setting up libvirt, KVM, and Vagrant on our Debian and Ubuntu development machines
  3. Fixing responsive menu issues in Bootstrap.

Today I went down a bunny trail of learning HashiCorp’s Terraform provisioning system. I intend to use it for dynamically spinning up Digital Ocean droplets without the button pressing and key copying. Infrastructure as code is very cool!

We also discussed alternate pricing data sources, like online grocery ordering services. While they may not list the same prices as are charged in-store, we’re sure there is at least a relationship between them.

We’ll see what issues we can wipe out in the next few days. Happy Thanksgiving!
